Fore! Augusta National chairman fires at women's group (Hootie Johnson tells NCWO to go to hell)
"We do not intend to become a trophy in their display case.
There may well come a day when women will be invited to join our membership but that timetable will be ours and not at the point of a bayonet. We do not intend to be further distracted by this matter. We will not make additional comments or respond to the taunts and gripes artificially generated by a corporate campaign.
We shall continue our traditions and prepare Augusta National Golf Club to host the Masters as we have since 1934.
With all due respect, we hope Dr. Burk and her colleagues recognize the sanctity of our privacy and continue their good work in a more appropriate arena."

Singer's remark riles Hispanics -- Greeley debates 'English' comment
"But Hispanic leaders said they were racist and the failure of Stampede organizers to condemn them shows the refusal to embrace newcomers."
No, the problem more likely is that the newcomers are refusing to embrace American culture, expecting Americans to adapt to and adopt theirs instead.

Lies, Inc.: The Pledge Exposes The Failure of Government Schools
An excellent read on the history of the publik skools. They stink. (Please, I live in the LAUSD. I know stink.)
However, the greater danger I see arises from the mandatory detachment/obsolescence of a Higher Being at all levels of public life, in other words a State Religion of Secular Humanism, which will lead to, ultimately, the loss of the Predicate Author/Authority of Liberty.
