Stuck On Glow Sticks

Contrary to misinformation, there are few, perhaps no, known deaths caused directly by use of actual ecstasy. The deaths are by something else sold as ecstasy, or dehydration and overheating while on ecstasy, and even those are rare.

Ecstasy was sold over the counter for 70 years or so untill about 1988. Then it was criminalized and became one of the most popular drugs around.

Lactose Intolerant

What I read in last week's New York Post made me realize I was downright lucky. Elizabeth McGarry, a New York woman who is feeding her baby breast milk she pumps into bottles, was forced by airport security to take a swig of baby's breakfast. She was carrying three bottles in her baby bag and was asked to sip from each one. When she said "I can't, it's breast milk," she was told "You have to drink it or you can't get on the plane."

You have got to be FReepin' kidding me. What a$$holes, excusemylanguage, but no airport story has infuriated me this much!!

This is why I refuse to fly post-9/11. Not out of fear, but out of an inability to support, in any way, this type of behavior.

Bush’s plan to launch invasion of Iraq is totally unjustified, Libertarians say

Iraq surrendered to our terms to end US military action. To achieve those terms of surrender it cost hundreds of American lives.

Some of the specific terms of their surrender were that they would no longer pursue weapons of mass destruction and that they would allow inspectors to verify this to be the case without restriction.

Clearly they have failed to keep their end of the bargain that we honored to end military action. I thought Libertarians were big on contracts and the parties involved obligation to honor them? In a purely logical sense we have an obligation to continue where we left off militarily due to them not honoring the basic principles they surrendered to.

If we don't resume military action then we are seen by the world as being weak, that we can be lied to in seriously grave contracts and we will let the lie stand.

And lastly, Americans paid in blood for Iraq's surrender. To not honor what was achieved in that surrender cheapens their deaths.
