I randomly had the privilege of seeing U2 perform at the new Cowboys stadium in Dallas last night. (Will also see them in Houston tomorrow.)
The show was amazing. They played lots of great tracks off of the new album as well as performing some old favorites. Some of those were Breathe, Get On Your Boots, No Line on The Horizon, City of Blinding Lights, I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight, Moment of Surrender, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Elevation, It's A Beautiful day, Magnificent, Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (which was the topic at my church last Sunday... both the service and the concert featuring acapella audience renditions, quite neat), Walk On, M.L.K., Amazing Grace, Mysterious Ways, Until The End of The World, and Vertigo, and I'm sure a bunch I've forgotten.
The encore began with a segment on Africa that featured Desmond Tutu discussing the millions of lives saved by U.S. aid. Bono rightly gave credit to Bush (where it was due, redeeming himself from his dis of the former president from a little while back), before performing One.
If you can still grab a chance to see them, don't hesitate. Just a super fantastic show.
